Dear Massis members,

We would like to thank all those who took part in Massis Chapter's General membership meeting which took place in Dikranian Hall on Sunday January 31st.

We are proud to announce that the 2009 Massis Executive committee received rave reviews for the work done in the past year, and the highest honors by the Evaluation committee.

The honors bestowed upon us however belongs to all of our hard working volunteers, coaches and parents who contributed time and effort in the operations of our chapter.  In particular, our success as a committee would have been impossible without the talents of the members of our subcommittees.

We would like to therefore thank all of our committees and congratulate them on their 2009 achievements:

Scout Council and Auxiliary Committee (Unforgettable Navasartian Float, activities/events packed calendar, increasing our scouts count to 106!)

Soccer Committee (Soccer Clinic with Yuri Movsisyan and the first Massis Soccer Tournament with the participation of 5 other chapters)

Finance Committee (Visa Concert and Friends of Massis Walkathon for Gym Acquisition)

Social Committee (Vahe Berberian Comedy Night, Kaham, Navasartian and Walkathon booths)

Athletic Committee (Trophy Night at Ferrahian, participation at all tournaments and in particular in the 8th Pan-Homenetmen Games in Armenia)

Team moms committee (Trophy Night at Ferrahian, game booths at Walkathon)

30th Anniversary Committee (Sold out banquet at Deukmejian Hall, over 450 attendees, an unforgettable evening celebrating 30 years of Massis service)

Although we achieved a lot together, there are many more opportunities for the growth and advancement of our chapter.  We therefore encourage all of our parents and community members to inquire about our committees and take part in the improvement and advancement of our programs, so that together we uphold the great tradition that is Homenetmen.

The names of the newly elected members of the 2010 Executive committee will be announced shortly.

We thank you once again and wish you all the best,

2009 Massis Executive Committee
