2012 Massis Open Enrollment starts Friday January 13th
!!Basketball practices will resume next Friday, January the 13th. 2012 Registration will also kick off next Friday. All forms are here. In an effort to make the process easier, the newly formed Athletic Committee will distribute the forms to each coach/team mom. (forms may also be downloaded) The coaches or team moms will in turn submit all completed forms and payments to the Athletic Committee. San Diego "Sevan" 27th Annual Games San Diego "Sevan" 27th Annual Games will take place on February 18,19, and 20, 2012. For Basketball Men's AAA, AA, 1-A, 2-A, 2-A, B and C Divisions Women's Basketball A,B, and C Divisions Women's Volleyball A and B Divisions - The games will take place at the Alliant International University in San Diego - Participation fee for Basketball is $550 per team - Participation fee for Volleyball is $350 per team - Team roster Submission Deadline is Sunday January 20th, 2012 - Teams paying before January 20th will get a $50 reduction per team |
*Important: Per the Regional office, no member will qualify to participate in any tournament unless he/she has paid his/her annual membership dues. Please download the new Massis membership application which needs to be filled out by new and returning members. *Note that all members in the "Family Pack" deal have to fill out individual applications in order to receive their Homenetmen membership cards. Therefore we ask from all parents, active or non-active members, to fill out individual applications and provide copies of their Driver's License. All new members need to also download and fill out a New Member "Regional" Homenetmen application, and provide a copy of their birth certificates (minor) or Driver's License (adult). You Go Mike!!! First Massis Basketball player to sign a contract with a professional team! We are exhilirated to inform you that our star Basketball player Mike Danielian has signed a contract with the German Pro-Basketball team Wulfenbuettel. Mike's talent emerged while attending Grant High School where he was twice called to the All City of Los Angeles Team. He also scored 58 points in one game, which broke the Grant High school single game record, which was held by current NBA player Gilbert Arenas. In August, Mike was named Most Valuable Player at the fifth Pan Armenian games in Yerevan, where he led the Los Angeles team to the Gold medal by scoring 49 points. He has been playing for Massis chapter for the past several years, wowing our community at the Navasartian Games.
