About Us

The Armenian General Athletic Union and Scouts, referred to as Homenetmen, is a non-profit youth organization, founded in 1918. Today, Homenetmen is a worldwide organization with over ninety chapters and over 25,000 members on five continents. The Homenetmen Motto “Elevate Your-self and others With You,” empowers every member to succeed and to facilitate the success of others. Homenetmen Massis Chapter, being part of this world-wide organization, ensures that the philosophy and spirit of its founders, “A healthy mind in a healthy body” is the blue print for instilling moral values, responsibility, and leadership, in every Homenetmen Massis member.

Homenetmen Massis Chapter has been the backbone of the San Fernando Valley youth and committed to their success since its inception in 1979. Not only does it provide the Armenian American youth with moral, physical and social education, in addition, it exposes the youth to the wealth of the Armenian culture and heritage and prepares them to be outstanding model Citizens.
